What is ESS60? Where does ESS60 come from? How is it made?

ESS60 is naturally occurring and can only be found in very small quantities. You can find traces of it on charred wood from a lighting strike, or near the end of a candle where soot deposits collect. The amounts found in the wild are insignificant and the only way to obtain large quantities are through a research lab. Our ESS60 is derived from a graphite rod. We process the graphite rods at the temperature of the sun and then the resulting soot goes through a process of purification where we extract only the ESS60 and the use a proprietary process so the material is ready for people and pets.
ESS60 is the exact formulation  used in the original University of Paris Baati rat study that showed test subjects given ESS60 lived 90% longer than the control group.
ESS60 is an allotropic form of carbon. It was discovered by Rice University researchers in 1985.

Are there side effects of taking MyVitalC?

None that have been documented. A quality Olive Oil will leave a peppery taste at the back of your throat which some customers do not like. The great thing is a simple sip of water or nibble on some bread will remove that taste immediatly. Additionally, a full teaspoon of Olive Oil does not sit on the stomach of some customers. For them we recommend splitting the dose across the day. Know that ESS60 is a new molecule and it will interact with each person differently, so you maybe want to adjust your dosage based on your experience.

Can I take more than the recommended serving size?

Yes, many of our clients tell us they are taking more, sometimes significantly more, than 5ml per day. Some people in our office take as much as 15ml twice per day. For some, the issue is the quantity of Olive Oil. Please take what works with your body.

Do I need to take MyVitalC with food?

The major component of MyVitalC is Olive Oil and Olive Oil is a food, so it is not necessary to take MyVitalC with additional food. Some of our customers report taking it after a meal which works for their body. However, no evidence shows that taking with food will reduce or enhance benefits.

How do I store MyVitalC?

Typical Olive Oil has a shelf life of about 3 years. There is some belief that the presence of ESS60 (C60 processed for safer consumption) extends this shelf life even further. As long as it’s stored in a cool dry dark place such as a spice pantry, the product will exceed the best by date. However, given that our product is consumed within 30 days we put a “best by” date of one year from bottling.

What about the taste?

Countless studies showed that [60]fullerene (ESS60) and derivatives could have many potential biomedical applications. However, while several independent research groups showed that ESS60 has no acute or sub-acute toxicity in various experimental models, more than 25 years after its discovery the in vivo fate and the chronic effects of this fullerene remain unknown. If the potential of ESS60 and derivatives in the biomedical field have to be fulfilled these issues must be addressed. Here we show that oral administration of ESS60 dissolved in olive oil (0.8 mg/ml) at reiterated doses (1.7 mg/kg of body weight) to rats not only does not entail chronic toxicity but it almost doubles their lifespan.

The effects of ESS60-olive oil solutions in an experimental model of CCl(4) intoxication in rat strongly suggest that the effect on lifespan is mainly due to the attenuation of age-associated increases in oxidative stress. Pharmacokinetic studies show that dissolved ESS60 is absorbed by the gastro-intestinal tract and eliminated in a few tens of hours. These results of importance in the fields of medicine and toxicology should open the way for the many possible -and waited for- biomedical applications of ESS60 including cancer therapy, neurodegenerative disorders, and ageing.
